2012 Top Tea Infusionist Challenge Winner

World Tea Expo Top Tea Infusionist 2011!

Our very own, Steven Downer, competed on Sunday, June 27, 2011 in Las Vegas at the World Tea Expo in the Top Tea Infusionist Competition. Contestants had 15 minutes to prepare, steep and present 4 difficult teas to 4 international judges. They were judged on quality of steeped tea, technical skill, and tea knowledge. Contenders were able to bring what ever they wanted to prepare and present their teas, but only had a 4 foot space to do so. Every contender definitely used every square inch of space!

In the end, Steven Downer won the competition. Congratulations Steven Downer! Click here to read more
